See what was checked, and what needs to happen next.

Understand Kirin’s item checks, photo and video records, corrections, consolidation and shipping coordination, including the difference between delivery and installation.

What is checked

Before packing, each item is checked for quantity, model, dimensions, colour, visible finish, hardware and basic function against the approved order and samples. Item coverage is not testing of every possible performance characteristic. Raise material, electrical, certification and destination requirements early.

What happens when an issue is found

Record the discrepancy with photos or video, follow up correction with the supplier and recheck before confirming the next stage. A report should identify its basis, date, checks, issues, correction results and anything still unconfirmed.

Where the goods are held

Goods are checked at the factory and held in areas allocated to Kirin before being brought to the Kirin warehouse near the shipping date for consolidation and loading. Confirm special packing, delayed storage and consolidation costs in advance.

Define the end of delivery

Customs, taxes, delivery to the address, unloading, room delivery, assembly, fixed installation and waste removal are separate tasks. Partners arrange the agreed work for the location and site conditions. Trade terms do not replace a specific installation scope.

Who to contact after arrival

For damage, missing items or specification issues, retain packaging and site photos and contact Kirin. We coordinate supplier and logistics checks against order, inspection and transport records, then follow up parts, correction or claims under the relevant responsibilities.

A useful check shows what was checked.

Before factory packing, each item is checked for quantity, model, dimensions, colour, visible finish, hardware and basic function, with the relevant checklist, photos or video. Checking every item does not mean laboratory testing every property. Material, electrical or destination documentation needs should be raised early.

Check against the approved information

Use the order, dimensions, sample or drawing—not appearance alone.

Record issues requiring action

Identify the item and the specific difference, with useful photos or video.

Coordinate correction and rechecking

Discuss discrepancies with the supplier and record the result of the recheck.

Connect the result with dispatch

Proceed with packing, consolidation and dispatch under the order confirmations and project arrangements.

How goods from different suppliers come together.

Checks and holding arrangements are organised at the factory as agreed. Goods are then brought together near dispatch, with packing lists and shipment requirements checked. Inspection, storage, consolidation and loading are different stages, each with its own timing, location and cost arrangements.

Factory completion and pre-packing checks

Check the supported order against its approved information.

Hold under the agreed arrangement

Record the goods’ status and dispatch plan; explain storage charges when a shipment is delayed.

Consolidate before dispatch

Bring together goods and packing information from the project’s suppliers.

Load and coordinate delivery

Arrange transport using the final packing information and share receiving requirements with the destination team.

Delivery to an address, placement and installation are different jobs.

Transport and destination support can be arranged through partners, or you can use your existing providers. Before dispatch, define the delivery point, unloading, room placement, assembly, fixed installation and packaging removal so missing arrangements do not surface at the door.

Transport and customs

Confirm the agreed trade arrangement, receiving point, required documents and responsible parties.

Access and handling

Provide road, parking, door, lift, stair and appointment restrictions.

Assembly and fixed installation

Specify the work, instructions, site conditions and quotations required.

Receiving and issue reporting

Check package counts and external condition, retaining relevant item, packing and receiving records for any issue.

When something is wrong, start with the item and its records.

Share the order, affected item, description and relevant photos or video. Retain packing and receiving records where applicable. Kirin reviews the information, contacts the relevant supplier or service provider and follows up the issue. The response and cost depend on the cause and project terms.

Before-dispatch discrepancies

Discuss correction with the supplier and recheck the result.

Transit damage or shortages

Use packing and receiving records to follow up parts, replacement shipments or a claim.

Specification or change issues

Review the approved version, site information and change record before agreeing the next step.
